Faculty of Public Health and Healthcare Management

Currently, the teaching staff of the faculty consists of 101 lecturers. Among them there are 13 Doctors of Medical Sciences, 55 Candidates of Medical Sciences and 1 academician of the National Academy of Sciences (Mikhailov A.N.).

The percentage of the personnel with a scientific degree is 67.3% (68 of 101), including: 12.9% - Doctors of Medical Sciences (13 of 101), 54.4% - Candidates of Medical Sciences (55 of 101, including 51 Candidates of Medical Sciences, 2 Candidates of Chemical Sciences, 2 Candidates of Economic Sciences).

Nearly 76% of the lecturers have qualification categories, among which the proportion of lecturers with higher and first qualifying categories is 80.5 and 15.6% respectively. In order to improve the quality of education, leading experts from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, the RSPCs, and other institutions, are invited to give lectures at the faculty.

The faculty deals with the training of healthcare managers, specialists of preventive medicine, diagnostic technologies, health economics, general practitioners, emergency physicians and etc. The faculty carries out academic, research, treatment, advisory. organizational and methodological work.
