Therapy Faculty

Therapy Faculty was founded in 1963.

The Faculty is well-equipped with modern devices and teaching materials, which provides therapists with a high level of postgraduate training. The clinical bases of the departments of Therapy Faculty are situated in leading republican scientific and practical centers and health institutions in Belarus.

At present, there are 105 lecturers working at 12 departments of the Faculty. Among them there are 24 Doctors of Medical Sciences, 65 - Candidates of Medical Sciences.

Research activities are carried out on the most actual problems for the Republic of Belarus, and aim at the improvement of diagnostic techniques and creation of new approaches to treatment. The results of scientific and research work are being successfully implementing either in educational or practical healthcare.

The Faculty has intensive PhD and Doctoral training courses for scientific and teaching personnel.

The teaching staff of the Therapy Faculty does a great deal of treatment and consultation work at clinical bases, in healthcare establishments of Minsk region and the Republic of Belarus in general.
