BelMAPE hosted a city scientific and practical conference "Interdisciplinary interaction of specialists in obstetric and gynecological practice"

On October 6, 2022, a scientific and practical conference with international participation "Interdisciplinary interaction in the practice of obstetrician-gynecologists" was held at BelMAPE.

The conference was organized by the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee and BelMAPE.

At the conference, reports were presented on the current situation with infectious and viral diseases in pregnant women and vaccination, new changes in the legislative framework and the organization of care for mothers and children, issues of reproductive health and newborn health, cancer prevention, modern approaches in operative gynecology were considered.

Opening the conference, the first vice-rector of BelMAPE Andrei Platonov noted the special role of postgraduate training in the continuous education of young professionals, the importance of the exchange of experience between doctors of different fields and different academic schools.

Сhief specialist of the Department of Assistance to Mothers and Children of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Ikonostasova I.V. in her report emphasized the importance of scientific and practical interaction between medical institutions, universities, and also presented in her report updated data on the organization of assistance in obstetric and medical institutions.

The event was attended by leading experts in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, oncology of our republic, as well as the Republic of Kazakhstan.
