«Cardiology and Rheumatology: From the Past to the Future»

On the 6th of October, 2021, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Cardiology and rheumatology: from the past to the future" was held.

Head of the Department of Science of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Candidate of Biological Sciences Margarita Dosina addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

Rector of BelMAPE Alexei Chukanov made a welcoming speech and presented diplomas to the specialists of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology.

Natalya Mitkovskaya, Director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology", head of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Diseases of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Chief Visiting Cardiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, was honored with the award "Appreciation" for the long-term work in the system of postgraduate education.

Andrey Pristrom, head of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, made the report "Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology: 1980–2021".

Natalia Mitkovskaya, director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology", head of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Diseases of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, Chief Visiting Cardiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, made the report "Cardiology today and tomorrow".

Svetlana Rachok, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Ph.D., associate professor, Chief Visiting Cardiologist of Health Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee made the report "What's new in the treatment of independent oral anticoagulants with vitamin K preparations in 2021".

Alla Shepelkevich, professor of the Department of Endocrinology of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Chairman of the Belarusian Public Medical Association  “Endocrinology and Metabolism” made the report “Cardiac diabetology - an emphasis on early detection and initiation of therapy for type 2 diabetes”.

Sergei Kazakov, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor, made the report "Arrhythmic risks in endocrinopathies".

Maria Mikhno, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor, made the report "Malignant arterial hypertension".

Alexander Pyrochkin, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology, BelMAPE, made the report “IHD: interventional or conservative treatment".

Andrey Pristrom, head of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, made the report "Evolution of treatment of chronic heart failure".

Lilia Maslinskaya, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor, made the report "Cardiological risks in rheumatological patients".

Nikolai Soroka, professor of the 2nd Department of Internal Diseases of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, made the report "Modern ideas about Ig4-related disease".

Natalya Martusevich - associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Diseases of Belarusian State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor, Chief Visiting Rheumatologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, made the report entitled "Musculoskeletal Pain and Postcoid Syndrome: Approaches to Treatment".

Elena Kunder, professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, made the report entitled "Modern anti-inflammatory therapy in rheumatology".

Anna Buglova, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Ph.D., associate professor, made the report "NSAID in a comorbid patient".

Elena Rudenko, associate professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor made the report entitled "Pharmacogenetics in the treatment of osteoporosis".

Tyabut Tamara, professor of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, made the report "Rheumatology: Past, Present and Future".

The conference ended with a lively, constructive discussion.
