International cooperation. BelMAPE participated at the Ist Annual Internet-Conference on Infectious Diseases «POKROV READINGS»

On the 1–3rd of November, 2021, specialists of BelMAPE participated in the work of Ist Annual Internet-Conference on Infectious Diseases « POKROV READINGS» (Moscow, the Russian Federation). The conference was dedicated to the memory of a famous Russian infectionist, epidemiologist, and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Pokrovsky. 

Associate professor of the Department of Pediatrics of BelMAPE Anna Ruban gave the report «COVID-19 — associated cardiovascular lesions in pediatrics», where she systematized possible mechanisms and manifestations of cardiovascular system disorders in children at COVID-19, outlined approaches to their prevention and therapy, and shared her own clinical observations on this issue.

The Online Forum was organized and conducted on a high scientific and methodological level. The parties expressed their desire to continue cooperation and wished the next conference would be in-person.
