International cooperation. Expert Council on Health at the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States

On the 21st of October, 2021, there had been held Expert Council on Health at the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States at Saint-Petersburg of the Russian Federation (herein after referred as Expert Council). Rector of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor Alexei Chukanov participated at the Expert Council.  

The had been discussed modern technologies in healthcare and development of the bioethics principles to achieve sustainable development goals in CIS countries, including correlation of social and economic prerequisites, creation of national evidential bases in healthcare of CIS member states, principles of organization of rehabilitation on the basis of international classifications.

Other representatives of BelMAPE participated оnline in the work of the Expert Council: vice-rector for clinical work of BelMAPE, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor Andrei Platonov; dean of the Therapy Faculty, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor Elena Vorobyova; head of the Department of Endocrinology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Larisa Danilova, who gave the report «Metabolic diseases and future of the nations».
