International cooperation. Visit of a delegation from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan (the Republic of Uzbekistan) to BelMAPE

On the 19th of May, 2021, a delegation of the Ministry of Health of Karakalpakstan (the Republic of Uzbekistan) visited BelMAPE. The delegation included the Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, M.I. Kurbanov, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, A.A.Askarov, a director of the Regional Perinatal Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, M.A.Babazhanov, a director of Karakalpak branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology named after M.A.Makhmutov.

The delegation was received by the Rector of BelMAPE, Alexei Chukanov. The meeting was also attended by the vice-rector for clinical work Andrei Platonov, the head of the international relations department Sergei Kozachenko.

During the official meeting, the parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of postgraduate medical education, the organization and conduct of educational advanced training courses, internships, the possibility of holding joint scientific and practical conferences, educational events, including online ones, on the actual problems of medicine.

During the meeting, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between State Educational Establishment "Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education" and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Also, during the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan visited the information stand of BelMAPE at the International Specialized Exhibition "Healthcare of Belarus - 2021", which was held from the 18th of May to the 21st of May, 2021.
