International cooperation. Visit of delegations from Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education and Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute

On the 7–8th October, 2021, the delegations from Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education and Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev visited BelMAPE on occasion of the 90th Anniversary of BelMAPE.

Among the guests from Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education were rector of the Academy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor of Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences Dmitry Sychev; director of Kazan State Medical Academy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences, honored physician of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Hasanov and director of Penza Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor Denis Vikhrev.

Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev was represented by rector of the Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Nazim Kasumov.

Representatives of the delegations took part as speakers at the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “From the origins to the Achievements of the XXIth century», dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of BelMAPE.

During the visit the parties also discussed the results of bilateral cooperation between BelMAPE and Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education and between BelMAPE and Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in the field of postgraduate training, discussed the issues of further development of scientific and academic cooperation, educational exchange, possibilities of joint events (also online ones) on the actual issues of medicine.

During the visit, there had been signed an Agreement on Cooperation between State Educational Establishment «Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education» and Penza Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians.

The delegates had been acquainted with the material and technical base of the Academy, sports center of BelMAPE, the course of the construction of the Republican Simulation Center.
At the end of the visit, the guests expressed their gratitude to the administration and representatives of BelMAPE for the warm welcome, hospitality, and a high level of scientific events.
