On the 15th of April, 2021, a grand opening of the Sports Complex for medical specialists took place at BelMAPE.
As the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Boris Androsyuk noted, "This is a multifunctional sports complex. Here you can practice various sports. Physical education is important, but given the pandemic, physical distancing measures must be taken, the recommendations of doctors for those who have had Covid are also very important".

According to the Rector of BelMAPE, Alexei Chukanov, the Sports Complex is designed for different tastes of medical workers - here you can play volleyball, basketball, and tennis. It is planned that both faculty members of BelMAPE and students of the Academy will practice sport in the renovated complex.

The question was raised about the norms of physical activity, taking into account the coronavirus pandemic and about what loads are acceptable for those who have had COVID-19.
Elena Vorobyeva, Dean of the Therapeutic Faculty of BelMAPE, noted that when recovering from COVID-19, active loads are contraindicated for people who have had a coronavirus infection. It is necessary to gradually increase physical activity. In the process of performing physical exercises, the stabilization of the psycho-emotional state also occurs.
The Sports Complex also includes a gym, halls for shaping and aerobics.
