Participation in the Regional Seminar "Implementation of the Principle of Health Saving in Educational Institutions as a Factor Which Improves the Educational Process"

On the 12th of May, 2022, head of the Department of Hygiene and Medical Ecology of BelMAPE, Doctor of Medical Sciences, associate professor Elena Guzik took part in the regional seminar "Implementation of the principle of health saving in educational institutions as a factor which improves the educational process", which was held at Educational Establishment "Mogilev State Regional Institute for the Development of Education".

During the seminar, head of the Department of Hygiene and Medical Ecology of BelMAPE Elena Guzik made the presentation “Method of hygienic assessment of the organization of the educational process in institutions of general secondary education. The effectiveness of the implementation of the information preventive project "School is the territory of health" in modern conditions”.

The seminar was held for representatives of structural subdivisions of the cities / district executive committees of Mogilev region, who have state powers in the field of education, methodologists of city / district educational and methodological rooms in charge of the health protection of students, hygienists, assistant hygienists, doctors for medical prevention, instructors -valeologists of zonal and regional centers of hygiene and epidemiology.

The seminar was opened by rector of Mogilev State Regional Institute for the Development of Education Mikhail Zhudro, Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor, who noted that interdepartmental cooperation is very important for maintaining the health of children, and holding such seminars contributes to obtaining new knowledge and best practices in matters of health saving .

Head of the dispensary department of Mogilev Regional Narcological Dispensary Aksenova O.I. presented the report "Organization of preventive work with students of educational institutions on the prevention of drug addiction."

Bogdanova M.A., a sociologist of the public health department of Mogilev Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health in her report “Sexual and reproductive attitudes of young people: a sociological aspect” talked about the results of a sociological study among the youth of Mogilev region.

The doctor - psychiatrist-narcologist of the children's outpatient department of Mogilev Regional Psychiatric Hospital Shumilina A. S. covered the issues of prevention of suicidal behavior among teenagers.

Deputy directors for educational work of State Educational Establishment "Secondary School No. 1 of the Town of Bykhov" Yarovaya N. L., State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 1 of the City of Bobruisk" Fedortsova T. L., State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 4 of the City of Mogilev" Yakovenko O. Yu. presented the experience of implementing the informational preventive project "School - Territory of Health" in educational institutions.

The seminar was held in a friendly atmosphere and aroused great interest among the participants.
