Participation of BelMAPE at International Ophthalmological Congress

Specialists of the Department of Ophthalmology of BelMAPE participated in the online International Ophthalmological Congress IOC Uzbekistan 2021. The Forum was held on the 16th and 17th of September, 2021, in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent) and was organized by the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Eye Microsurgery, which is the main institution for ophthalmology in Uzbekistan.

The participants from BelMAPE gave reports at the congress: Olga Yarmak, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor of the Department of Ophthalmology, gave the report entitled «Surgical treatment of giant retinal tear detachment in adolescence at COVID-19» (in coauthorship with T. Imshenetskaya and V. Markevich); Vladimir Markevich, a senior lecturer of the Department of Ophthalmology  of BelMAPE, gave the report  entitled « Extrascleral filling using endoillumination: our experience» (in coauthorship with Т. Inshenetskaya and O.Yarmak).
At the International Ophthalmological Congress IOC Uzbekistan 2021, which became a common platform for the exchange of experience between specialists in the field of ophthalmology from different countries, generally recognized international speakers from near and far abroad had the opportunity to share their experience to gain new skills and knowledge within the entire ophthalmological community.
