On September 11, 2022, the Minsk Semi-Marathon was held - the largest sporting event in the country, which has rightfully become the hallmark of our capital.

The event brought together eleven thousand fans of running and bright emotions.

Traditionally, the Minsk Semi-Marathon was held in three distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km 97 m. The race routes passed through the picturesque places of Minsk, capturing the main sights of the capital.

The competitive day began with a race for a distance of 21.097 km, which was successfully overcome by associate professor of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery of BelMAPE Vladimir Zhuravlev, thereby setting an excellent pace for the rest of the half-marathon participants. At noon, the start of the most massive race at a distance of 5 km was given, the participants from the Academy were Ekaterina Ilyashevich, the personnel specialist Alexandra Khoroshko, the leading specialist of the Research Laboratory Victoria Stankevich, the leading specialist of the Department of Clinical Residency and Internship Anastasia Shevkun, Economist of the 2nd category of the Financial Department Daria Levanovich, specialist of the department of international relations Tatyana Benko, specialist of the 1st category of the Medical and Organizational Department Alexander Ilyashevich, software engineer of the 2nd category Yan Bedushevsky.

It is worth noting that many participants have repeatedly participated in the semi-marathon. And this time was no exception despite the inclement weather. The participants of the self-marathon tested themselves for endurance, got a lot of positive emotions. All participants of the half marathon were awarded well-deserved medals for their participation and will to win.
