School of healthcare organizers in BelMAPE. The webinar "Working with appeals of citizens and legal entities in the healthcare system"

The School of Health Organizers has resumed its work in BelMAPE. On September 12, 2022, a webinar “Working with appeals from citizens and legal entities in the healthcare system” was held, the main speaker at which was head of the Department of Appeals from Citizens and Legal Entities of the Main Directorate for Controlling Medical Activities and Circulation of Medicines of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Govorunov. The topic for discussion was not chosen by chance. After all, work with citizens' appeals today is one of the most important activities of the governing bodies of the Republic of Belarus. It ensures the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, contributes to improving the quality of life of people.

The webinar was opened by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Tatiana Kalinina, who noted the importance of continuous professional development for the formation of the competence of a modern leader and the role of the Academy in the search for new innovative forms of education.

Dean of the Faculty of Public Health and Health Irina Tikhonenko, head of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Marina Shchaveleva, professor of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Marina Sachek also took part from BelMAPE.

In his speech, head of the Department of Appeals of Citizens and Legal Entities of the Main Directorate for Control of Medical Activity and Circulation of Medicines of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Govorunov touched upon the upcoming changes to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Appeals of Citizens and Legal Entities”, emphasizing that the formation of a single information platform information about applications in the Republic of Belarus will increase the responsibility and transparency of the work of all bodies and organizations in this direction.

The webinar addressed the issues of organizing a personal reception of citizens, consideration of oral and written appeals, features of work in healthcare organizations with electronic appeals from citizens and legal entities.

S.A. Govorunov drew special attention to compliance with the requirements for the formation of responses, the timing of consideration of appeals and the commission consideration of complaints.

The webinar aroused great interest of the audience: for example, even before the start of the webinar, about thirty questions were received, to which competent answers were given in the course of work.
