Aleksandr Pyrochkin

Aleksandr Pyrochkin was born in the family of physicians in 1979 in Grodno. In 2004, Aleksandr Pyrochkin graduated from Grodno State Medical University, Medical and Preventive Faculty. In 2004 – 2005, he did internship in therapy at Grodno Regional Clinical Hospital and Grodno Regional Cardiology Dispensary. From 2005 to 2006, Aleksandr Pyrochkin worked as a physician at the Therapy Unit of Karelichy Central Regional Hospital.  

In 2006, Aleksandr Pyrochkin started a full-time PhD course in cardiology at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases of Grodno State Medical University.

In 2009, Aleksandr Pyrochkin got the academic title of Candidate of Medical Sciences in cardiology.

Since 2007, Aleksandr Pyrochkin had been working as an assistant at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases of Grodno State Medical University. He worked part-time at the Pulmonology Unit of the City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Grodno, at the Rehabilitation Unit of the Cardiac Dispensary; he was a consultant on therapy at the State Institution “1134 Military Clinical Medical Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus”.

Since 2012, he had been working as an assistant; in 2014, he started to work as an associate professor at the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of BelMAPE.

In 2015, Aleksandr Pyrochkin got the academic title of an associate professor in clinical medicine.

Aleksandr Pyrochkin is an ultrasound-endovascular surgeon of the angiography room of the 1st City Clinical Hospital, a consultant of the units for the treatment of patients with myocardial infarction No. 1, No. 2, a consultant of the cardiology unit No. 3, anesthesiology and intensive care unit and the therapy admission unit of the 1st City Clinical Hospital, as well as the 2 cardiology and rehabilitation unit for patients with pathology of the heart and blood vessels of the 4th City Clinical Hospital  named after Savchenko, a consultant of the Professor’s Advisory Medical Center of BelMAPE, a consultant of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

He is qualified as a general practitioner, cardiologist and X-ray endovascular surgeon. In 2013, he was certified for the highest qualification category.

Aleksandr Pyrochkin is an author of 112 scientific and scientific-methodical works, a co-author of the monograph "Clinical aspects of hyperhomocysteinemia", 27 teaching aids, a course of lectures on propaedeutics of internal diseases (in English), the first textbook on the propaedeutics of internal diseases in English in the Republic of Belarus (2020), 28 scientific articles, 2 instructions for use, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, 2 patents for invention.

Aleksandr Pyrochkin is a member of the Belarusian Scientific Society of Cardiology (BNOC), the European Society of Cardiologists (ESC), the European Association for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (EAPCI), the Association for the Treatment of Emergency Cardiology (ACCA), the European Association for Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC), Heart Failure Association (HFA).

Aleksandr Pyrochkin was awarded with Certificates of Honor of the Administration of the Leninsky District of Grodno (2010), Grodno State Medical University (2011), has a commendation from the Administration of the Pervomaisky District of Minsk (2016), a commendation from the Administration of the Zibo City District of Shandong Province (PRC, 2016), a commendation from head of the State Institution "Military Medical Department of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus".

In 2011, Aleksandr Pyrochkin was a laureate of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus as a talented young scientist.
