Associate professor of the Department of Surgery, Candidate of Medical Sciences
Anatoly Shuleiko was born in 1961 in the village of Kadiivka, Voroshilovgrad region, where he finished secondary school.
In 1984, after the graduation from Grodno Medical Institute, he worked as a surgeon, head of the Surgery division of regional territorial medical association. From 1997 to 2002, he worked as a deputy chief physician, chief physician of Minsk Regional Clinical Hospital; from 2002 to 2009, as a chief surgeon of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee. In 2009, he defended PhD thesis entitled "The choice of optimal tactics and volume of resection of the small intestine in small bowel obstruction." From 2009 to 2014, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Surgery. From 2014 until the present, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Surgery. In 2020, he completed his doctoral studies.
Anatoly Shuleiko is a surgeon of the highest category, he was awarded with the badge "Excellence in Health Care".
The main topics of the current research: surgery of liver and pancreas, intestinal obstruction, purulent-septic complications in surgery.
