Andrei Postoyalko

Andrei Postoyalko was born in 1972. After the graduation from Grodno State Medical University in 1998, he did internship in therapy at Brest Regional Hospital, and worked as a cardiologist at Minsk Clinical Dispensary. Since February, 2001, he began to work as a roentgenologist at the Unit of Angiography and Interventional Cardiology of the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus. In 2005, Andrei Postoyalko defended Candidate’s thesis in cardiology and radiation diagnostics.

In 2008, he got the highest qualification category as a roentgen-endovascular surgeon.
Since March 2010 until the present, Andrei Postoyalko has been working as head of the Unit of Angiography and Roentgen Surgery at the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus.   

Since 2006, Andrei Postoyalko has been working at BelMAPE. Since 2012, he has been working as an assistant and associate professor at BelMAPE.

The main topics of his researches are the following ones: development of the interventional treatment methods of coronary heart disease, peculiarities of acute coronary syndrome with ST-segment elevation in patients, who got stenting, factors influencing acute coronary syndrome with ST-segment elevation in patients who got percutaneous coronary interventions.

Andrei Postoyalko constantly participates at the republican and international conferences and meetings, giving presentations on actual problems of radiodiagnostics and endovascular surgery.
