Elena Bankova

Elena Bankova was born in Mogilev, in a family of physicians.

In 1994 she graduated from Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University on the specialty «General Medicine».

From 1994 to 1995, Elena Bankova underwent training at clinical residency at the Department of Therapy-2 of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training. From 1995 to 1998 she did her PhD course at the Department of Therapy of Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

After her PhD course, Elena Bankova worked as an assistant of the Department of Therapy of BelMAPE (from 01/09/1998 to 2007); since 2007 until the present Elena Bankova has been working as an associate professor of the Department of Therapy.

Elena Bankova is a doctor of the highest qualification category.

She is an author and co-author of more than 100 scientific works.

Her main scientific interests are: therapy, nephrology, pulmonology and gastroenterology.
