Elena Sukalo was born in Minsk in the family of physicians. In 2004, she graduated from Belarusian State Medical University, Faculty of General Medicine. In 2004 – 2005, she did internship in therapy at the 32nd City Clinical Hospital of Minsk. From July, 2005 to September, 2005, she worked as a therapist in the outpatient clinic.
From 2005 to 2008, Elena Sukalo did PhD course in cardiology at the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2009, she defended Candidate’s thesis in cardiology.
Since 2008, she had been working as a teacher apprentice; since 2009 until the present, she has been working as an assistant at the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology. In 2008, she also worked as a cardiologist at the Cardiology Unit for the Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction №1 at the 1st City Clinical Hospital of Minsk. Since 2015 until the present, she has been working as an ultrasound physician at the 1st City Clinical Hospital of Minsk.
She is qualified as a cardiologist and ultrasound doctor. In 2011, the first qualification category was awarded. She is a consultant of the cardiology department №3, endocrinology, and admission department of the 1st City Clinical Hospital of Minsk.
She is an author of more than 50 publications, including 4 educational guides. She is a scholar of the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2012.
