Elena Suschenya

Elena Suschenya graduated from Minsk State Medical University, Faculty of General Medicine, in 1998.

She did internship in neurology at the 5th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk (1998-1999).

From 2001 to 2004, she did clinical residency at the Department of Neurology of BelMAPE.

In 2005-2006, she took Master’s degree in acupuncture at the International Institute of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. From 2006 to 2009, she underwent Doctoral studies at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology

She defended her Doctoral thesis in China - "Study of the effectiveness of integrative methods of Chinese medicine in the treatment of Bi-syndrome (osteoarthritis)." In 2009, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (MD, CHINA).

Elena Suschenya has the highest qualification category in neurology and physiotherapy.

Since 2013, she has been working as an assistant at the Department of Physiotherapy and Balneology; in 2018, she got the academic title of Candidate of Medical Sciences in the Republic of Belarus; in 2019 – the academic title of associate professor.

Elena Suschenya renders treatment and advisory care at medical establishments of the Republic of Belarus: at the 4th City Clinical Hospital of Minsk, Republican Center for Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology. He is a neurologist-consultant of the Professor's Medical Advisory Center of BelMAPE.

The main areas of his scientific interests:

• Traction therapy and shock wave therapy for diseases of the spine and joints;
• Ozone therapy and carboxytherapy in neurology, therapy and cosmetology;
• Puncture physiotherapy for pain syndromes;
• Apparatus physiotherapy in cosmetology.

She is an author of more than 35 scientific works, 16 educational guides for doctors, 3 instructions for the use of innovative methods, 1 patent in the Republic of Belarus
