Larisa Fursova

Larisa Fursova was born 1947. In 1972, she graduated from Vitebsk state Medical Institute. From 1972 to 1976, she worked as a neuropathologist at Mogilev Regional Hospital. From 1976 to 1978, Larisa Fursova underwent clinical residency course on neuropathology at the Scientific and Research Institute for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy. From 1978 to 1996, she worked as a junior researcher, and then as a senior researcher at the Scientific and Research Institute for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Physiotherapy. In 1989, she successfully defended Candidate’s thesis. Since 1997, Larisa Fursova had been working as an assistant at the Department of Neuropathology of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training; since 1999, she has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Neuropathology of BelMAPE. In 2002, she got the academic title of associate professor.

Her scientific mainly include the issues of vertebrogenic and cerebrovascular diseases of the nervous system. She is an author of 85 publications, including 2 monographs, 10 teaching aids.
