Liudmila Bogush graduated from Minsk Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute in 2000, specialty “General Medicine and Preventive Care”.

From 2000 to 2001 Liudmila Bogush undertook an internship in pediatrics at the Territorial Medical Organization №2 in Baranovichi.

From 2001 to 2002 she worked as a district pediatrician at the Polyclinic №1 of Pediatric Healthcare Institution «Territorial Medical Organization №2» in Baranovichi.

From 2002 to 2003 Liudmila Bogush worked as a district pediatrician at Minsk City Pediatric Polyclinic № 8.

From 2003 to 2005 Liudmila Bogush underwent clinical residency on the specialty «General Medicine» at the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

From 2005 to 2008 Liudmila Bogush did her PhD course (intramural mode of training) at the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

From 2008 to 2009 she worked as a teacher apprentice at the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

In 2009 she defended her Candidate’s thesis: «Postprimary iron overload: comparison of clinical, morphological and genetic characteristics» (on the specialty “Internal Diseases”).

From 2009 to 2014 she worked as an assistant at the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

From 2014 to 2018 Liudmila Bogush worked as a head of the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

Since August, 2018 she has been working as an associate professor of the Department of General Medicine of BelMAPE.

She is an author and coauthor of 56 printed works, 30 of them are scientific ones, 8 of them are teaching works.

For 5 years, Liudmila Bogush had been a chief external general practitioner of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Liudmila Bogush is a member of editorial board of the scientific and practical journal «Family doctor», a member of Belarusian Association of General Practitioners, a member of the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice (EURACT).

Honorary awards: for the development of cooperation and participation at the Ist Meeting of GPs of  Kyrgyzstan, at All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference «Clinical Recommendations as the Basis of GP’s Medical Activities», for long-term conscientious and outstanding work at BelMAPE and significant contribution to the preparation of well-experienced professionals of the highest qualification, retraining and advanced training of healthcare professionals.

At present her main scientific interests are connected with the issues of the prevention of regulated risk factors for the development of chronic non-communicable diseases.
