Liudmila Volkova

In 1985 Liudmila Volkova graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute, the Faculty of Pediatrics. In 2003 she defended her Candidate’s thesis entitled «Incidence and clinical-laboratory characteristics of hemophilia in children of Belarus». Her scientific researches are mainly devoted to the development of new treatment methods of hemophilia in children. She undertook training at University clinics of Frankfurt on the Main (Germany), London (Canada), and Salzburg (Austria). Liudmila Volkova is an author of more than 80 publications, including 6 study guides, 3 instructions for use. She is a member of the Belarusian Association of Doctors. Liudmila Volkova cooperates with the World Federation of Hemophilia (pediatric hemophilia coordinator of the Republic of Belarus).
