Svetlana Yakutovskaya

In 1986, she graduated from Vitebsk State Medical Institute.

In 1987: she did internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Vitebsk Regional Maternity Hospital.

1987-1990: Svetlana Yakutovskaya worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at Lepel Central Regional Hospital.

1990 – 1992: she did clinical residency course at clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training.

After the clinical residency course, she had been working as an emergency obstetrician-gynecologist in Road Minsk Hospital Station.

1994 – 1997: she did PhD course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training.

In 1998, Svetlana Yakutovskaya she defended Candidate’s thesis entitled «The role of psychological, hemodynamic and neurohumoral factors in the pathogenesis of miscarriage» on the specialty “Obstetrics and Gynecology”.

From 1997 to 2005, she worked at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Belarusian State Institute for Advanced Medical Training. From 2005 to 2008, she worked as an assistant and associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of BelMAPE. In 2007, she got the academic title of associate professor on the specialty «Clinical medicine». From 2008 to 2020, she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health of BelMAPE. Since 2021, she has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Reproductive Health and Medical Genetics of BelMAPE.

In 2011, she was awarded a diploma from the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee for many years of conscientious work for the benefit of healthcare, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the training of specialists and the provision of medical care to the population of the city of Minsk.

She is involved into ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology, colposcopy. She provides advisory and medical assistance at the hospital, performs high-tech and complex surgical interventions on female genital organs. She provides emergency assistance to women of the Republic of Belarus.

She provides consultations on miscarriage, menstrual irregularities, infertility, endometriosis, menopausal problems.

She has the highest qualification category in obstetrics and gynecology.

She is an author and co-author of more than 80 publications, 10 of which are the teaching aids.
