Tatiana Svetlovich

Tatiana Svetlovich graduated from Minsk State Medical Institute in 1988. After the graduation, she worked as an occupational hygienist at Krupki Regional Sanitary-Epidemiological Station, then – at Minsk Regional Sanitary and Epidemiological Station. In 1990, she was appointed as the director of the Republican Museum of the History of Medicine of Belarus, where she worked until 2006. At present, she is a coordinator of the international project on the organization of medical and social assistance to the elderly and disabled people in the framework of the Belarusian Red Cross Society.

In 1994, Tatiana Svetlovich started part-time PhD course at the Scientific and Research Institute for Social Hygiene, Economics and Healthcare Management named after N.A. Semashko of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, which she graduated in 1997, defending her Candidate’s thesis.

Since January, 2001, she has been working at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Management of BelMAPE. He gives lectures on the history of medicine and healthcare, gives seminars and practical sessions, reviews abstracts and diplomas.

Tatiana Svetlovich improved her qualification at the advanced training courses: at BelMAPE, Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (Moscow), Swiss School of Public Health (Azcona).

She has the highest qualification category in public health and healthcare.

Tatiana Svetlovich is an author and coauthor of 88 publications, among them there is 1 monograph, 5 teaching and methodological works.

She participates in meetings, seminars, scientific and practical conferences.
