Viktor Gromyko

Viktor Gromyko was born in 1976 in Minsk. In 1998, he graduated from Minsk Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute with a specialty in General Medicine and Preventive Care.

From 1998 to 1999, he did internship as a general practitioner at City Emergency Station in Minsk.

From 1999 to 2001, Viktor Gromyko worked as a physician of mobile medical team at Minsk Emergency Station.

From 2001 to 2006, he worked as a nephrologist at Nephrology Unit of N.Е. Savchenko 4th City Clinical Hospital.

From 2006 to 2008, Viktor Gromyko worked as a scientific researcher within the group of operative nephrology of the Central Scientific and Research Laboratory of BelMAPE.  

From 2008 to 2011, he did his PhD course on Nephrology at the Department of Urology and Nephrology of BelMAPE. In May, 2011, after his successful graduation, he started to work as an assistant at the Department of Urology and Nephrology of BelMAPE.

In 2012, Viktor Gromyko successfully defended his Candidate’s thesis entitled «Detection and correction of protein-calorie deficiency in patients, getting renal replacement therapy».

Since 2014, Viktor Gromyko has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Urology and Nephrology of BelMAPE.

He has the highest qualification category in nephrology.

He is a member of the International Society of Nephrologists (ISN).
