In 2011, Viktoria Golikova defended Candidate’s thesis entitled «Medical rehabilitation and medico-social examination of patients with infantile cerebral palsy and symptomatic epilepsy» on the specialty restorative medicine, physiotherapy exercises and sports medicine, balneology and physiotherapy.
In 2012, she became a laureate of the competition for the best Ph.D. thesis in the category "Medical and Veterinary Sciences".
She was awarded with the badge "Excellence in Healthcare" in 2016.
She is a member of the scientific and technical council of the sectoral scientific and technical program (ONTP) "To develop and improve new technologies and methods of medical examination, rehabilitation and quality of medical care to the population" ("Expertise, rehabilitation, quality of medical care") for 2019-2023 years, the Academic Council of the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Expertise and Rehabilitation", the interdepartmental scientific expert commission.
She is an author and coauthor of more than 150 publications in Belarus, Russia, Poland, Ukraine and other neighboring countries (1 monograph, 2 teaching aids, 5 educational guides for physicians, 25 instructions for use, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
Spheres of interests: medical and social expertise, pediatrics, neurology, medical rehabilitation (habilitation) of children.
The areas of scientific priorities: medical and social expertise in childhood diseases, assessment of disabilities and their severity from the perspective of the International Classification of Functioning, disabilities and health, prevention of the formation of disabilities in persons under the age of 18, the implementation of the rights of disabled children.
